Galileo labs
Galileo Labs is a new IT company developing revolutionary 3D avatar technologies: their aim is to create 3D avatars that can communicate, and ultimately, simulate feeling and connection. Composed of a young and energetic team, Galileo Labs is driven by a rebellious spirit and the desire to shape a new world.
The visual identity is rooted in a fusion of the company name and its focus on 3D avatars. A 3D scan of the Galileo Galilei bust from the Verona Museum serves as a core element, representing a "3D avatar of a 3D avatar." The color palette is bold and evocative, while the typography blends influences from early 21st-century graffiti and early 20th-century modernist type. A custom display font was derived from the "labs" component of the logo.
To establish a brand identity system that communicates the team's values and reflects their sphere of activity.
We created two unique typefaces: Figaro and Magnifico. Their simple geometric structures provide a counterpoint to the classical bust of Galileo, lending a sense of grounding and stability to the company's visual identity.
